This is one of the flowers on our peony bushes.  They are still full of blooms...just beautiful.

Today is beginning very cool (in the 60's) with bright blue skies and a light breeze.  It's going to a high in the mid 80's.

I probably did too much yesterday as my joints are letting me know but I want to plant the tomatoes this morning.  We got the beds ready last night with additional soil and filler.  I had to wait until my son was home because the bags of soil were too heavy for me to lift!!!  (Ah...the joys of getting old!)

I did get the main upstairs room cleaned up.  The starter seeds did not make it during the three days of 90 plus temperatures early in May.  I plan on starting seeds again but this time in my new greenhouse.  Speaking of which, here's a couple pictures...

It's about 7.5 feet by 4 feet.  You can see how many shelves there are.  And even with the doors and windows open, there are screens to keep out bugs!

I have it anchored to the deck on three sides.  The glass top small table next to the greenhouse is really heavy so I may anchor the final corner to it.

As I said before, it was easy to put together and the frame is solid.  I did need a bit a help putting on the cover but once on, I was able to tie it unto the frame.

I purchased seeds yesterday but none of the stores had spinach seeds so I had to order them...interesting!

Today, however with the exception of planting in the raised beds, I will be working in the house...basically my studio which is extremely messy.  I haven't unpacked the craft items I took with me on vacation either.  And I'm feeling a need for some craft time today.

So do you have a garden...even a window box...or a couple of herbs in the kitchen window?  I love gardening, even if it's only a pot or two.  I bet if you raised a few herbs you would find how much you enjoy it also.  Pick up a couple at a nursery when you're out this week and give gardening on a small scale a try...

Have an amazing day...

Talk with you tomorrow...
