I took this photo of flowers on one of my walks here.  As there is no stationary bike for exercising, while here I am determined to walk those 30 minutes.  And so far, with the exception of the day after arriving, I have walked every morning for 30 minutes, only inside once.  Maybe by the end of my stay I will be able to walk longer.  I'm just happy that I can walk 30 minutes without a break!

So, life goes on,  I am using these couple of weeks as a vacation and not getting up at the crack of dawn although I am waking up and listening to news!  Just relaxing instead of getting going.  I have been working on some pages from the junk journal kit I brought with me.  I have also worked on the collage fish.  Check out this photo...

I like the way this is coming out.  I am nowhere close to being done but I think the way I am forming this fish looks promising.

I know it's a bit late in the month but I did post a couple new things.  First of all there's a new word for the month - 'JOY'.  I hope all of you will take time during the rest of the month to find 'joy' in your everyday living.   You don't have to look for large things or situations, you can find 'joy' in the small experiences like the smile of a child, or enjoying your morning beverage outdoors (if the weather is cooperative!), or even finishing a chore.

The other post is the challenge for the month of June which is very simple.  Set yourself a goal for the rest of the month.  Again it doesn't have to be big and important, nor does it have to be doing something you really don't want to do (although it could be) like cleaning out the garage.  It's something that you choose to do for yourself.  I am choosing to walk 30 minutes a day five days a week.  For the rest of the month, that's sixteen days.  And since I will be traveling back home this month which  usually takes four days, I will have to make up those days on the weekend.  That's my challenge for the month.  I hope each of you will come up with your own challenge for the rest of this month!

That's all for now...
Talk with you tomorrow...
