It was also so busy that it took yesterday to recoup. Of course, we did a lot to get ready for folks. And it looks like we do have another set of visitors next weekend which will be very nice.
This morning, although a late start, it's back to a bit of routine. And tomorrow I have to begin really early because I have an 8:30am appointment which takes an hour to drive, park and walk to the office.
And fall has arrived I think. The high on Sunday was in the high 80's and on Monday and for the next ten days the high is in the mid 70's. Feels like fall...cool, crisp air and blue skies. Stores are already displaying Halloween candy and decorations!
Cookie Monster (and believe me there are times with Monster does apply) has grown by leaps and bounds...
He has some interesting coloring. He can be very sweet and cute but boy when he doesn't get what he wants, he turns into to a monster...thus the name is very appropriate.
Very few days left of August...what does the commercial say...'back to reality'. Back to work for my son, early, early days and late evenings. And back to a regular routine for me. In some ways I am looking forward to that and in others it is sad not to have the easy, breezy days of summer.
Well, I need to get busy with guild stuff and, maybe, a bit of creative time later on today...
