Not as hot as yesterday, but it's supposed to get to the high 80's with rain all afternoon. And rain tomorrow with highs in the low 80's.
I'm not sure when we will be able to seal the top of Duchess. I may have to cover her first. And wait for fall, perhaps. Which when you look at the calendar isn't that far away!
So, I did get the Summer Newsletter, Part Two out yesterday without any problems.
I also began organizing the utility room. It's over half-way done so I should be able to finish it today. We have shelving and instead of putting things like tools and supplies like paper towels away, we just put things anywhere. Well, I now have labeled all the containers and most of them are open so we can just place them back in without any extra work.
I had an interesting thing happen last night...my printer which is an hp with the liquid ink kept going off. It's not a fax, just a printer. I had to unplug it to stop. Going to have to check on that today to see why it was doing that.
As promised, here are the pictures of the rest of the small eight-page booklet made out of a single sheet of paper. The only new thing I did to the cover was to add a closure which is a trifolded strip of paper, glued to the back and velcroed in the front using the craft velcro dots...
Here are the finished pages one and two again. The left side has a belly band and contains a small notebook. The right side has a side pocket with a tag...
I finished pages three and four. Page three (on the left) has a waterfall with pictures and words and page four (on the right) has a pocket with a tag...
And last, pages five and six. Page five has a pocket with a tag and page six has two tiny envelopes each with a piece of ephemera...
Six pages plus the front and back cover make eight altogether and all from one sheet of copy paper. Pretty neat don't you think.
Well, I need to get going and finish up my chores for the day. Hopefully, I will get in some creative time without the little one, Cookie Monster.
