It's getting warmer outside but still icy all over...the steps, the sidewalk, the truck, the trees, etc.  It's supposed to warm up to 42 degrees today.  I guess I'll believe it when I see it!

I made dinner last night and it was great.  A slow roasted well seasoned chuck roast (it literally fell apart!) on a bed a carrots plus mashed potatoes & gravy and green peas.  There's enough for left-overs tonight.

Continuing with the process of getting to know and welcoming yourself, spend a few minutes thinking about yourself today, try and remember your young adult years and what memories stand out.  Even though you were older at that time, it's still a learning process...as a matter of fact, our entire life is really a learning process...what did you learn about yourself?  How did that impact your life today?

I did manage to add some ephemera to some of the pages in my current journal.  As these pages have lots of pockets with tags and notebooks in them, I am at the point of realizing that two signatures is all this cover can hold if I want to make sure that it can close nicely.   Check out these page(s) spreads.

This is a single page spread with a side tuck containing a folded writing tag (note the ribbon with two charms)...

This next set is a two page spread with a single tag in the left pocket and a belly band with a notebook on the right side...

I added a prompt to each tag and notebook as an encouragement for writing.

I hope to get out a bit later today but only if the ice melts enough to make it safe.  If there's ice where you live, please be careful.

Talk with you tomorrow...
