Going to make a chicken dinner for the evening meal. I shopped yesterday for a few things to make the meal and everything I bought was more expensive than the last time I purchased them. I thought prices were supposed to go down on day one!!! Guess that didn't happen!!!
I have never shopped for used books online, but after seeing that Amazon had used books, I went to 'Thrift Books' to see if any of the ones I lost were available...and guess what, I found several for very little money...most under $6.00 and a few under $10.00. I ordered seven books which cost a lot less than I originally paid for them. And there was no shipping costs! I am looking forward to being able to read through them again.
The weekend is upon us, again, (I won't complain about how fast the time is zipping by...but it is!) so I am posting three areas from which to declutter. If you're new to this, the idea is to pick one item a day from the designated areas to either donate or discard. If uncertain about the item, put it in a 'considering' box, to reconsider at a later date.
And now that you've taken the time to think about past memories and how they have affected you, did you lean anything new about yourself? Did you remember something that was really fascinating to your younger self that rekindled that fascination now? It might be time to follow up on that. Did those memories help you understand how you may react to things now?
As you are thinking about those memories, remember to understand that this was a time of learning about life, about relationships and most important about yourself and learning to love to who were then and who you are now. Most of us don't take the time to do that which is sad because if we don't actually take the time, we will never really know who we truly are.
I hope all of you have an amazing weekend...be sure to include some 'you time' in your schedule...find something fun to do...and Happy Valentines' Day!
Talk with you on Monday...
