I think working on the yard will be part of next week's chores. It will be interesting to see what pops up around the yard flower wise. I'm not sure what's planted.
I am still excited about the journal I am making for myself. I have sewn the three page signature into the cover. This is the front cover...
A pocket on the left side and a collaged page on the right side, again using torn pieces from a magazine. I decided not to add anything to the collaged pages. The next picture shows the back of the card from the pocket...
Turning the next page in the journal you will find this layout...
On the left side there is an envelope and on the right side a collaged page. The next picture shows the page fully opened...
Above you can see the envelope flipped to the left which reveals another smaller envelope flipped down plus a pocket. Below are the poetry cards out of the pockets...
That's all that I have finished in my poetry journal. My plan is to finish it completely this weekend. I've also started another fabric collage using the pieces I picked up at the quilt store last weekend which I will share next week.
And I've added another picture in my gratitude challenge...
Well, another busy week is almost gone and along comes a promise of an exciting weekend...the spring festivals are beginning. I missed the flower show a few weeks back because of a snow/ice storm. I don't want to miss any more events and there are several to pick from this weekend from an artisan show to music to food truck challenge. I'll let you know on Monday what I did.
And I hope you find something fun and exciting to do...
Talk with you on Monday...
