Of course, our outdoor grilling was on Saturday which was cool and very, very rainy. Needless to say, we ate inside. But I had a great time with family.
Today it is also bright and sunny, a bit cool but going to the mid 70's. More like spring now that we are approaching June and the beginning of summer.
The gardens looks great...both flowers and vegetables. The beans and carrots germinated so I will be planting them in the next day or two. Let me tell you, though, handling sprouted carrot seeds is not an easy task. I'm hoping that they all grow.
Remember when I was trying to organize my junk journal ephemera and after seeing a video on how one crafter did it, I choose to do the same. She used a three ring binder and page protectors that she sectioned and sewed into the two, four or six pockets...
It's not as hard as it looks but it is tedious. And it is still great for larger items as well as scrap paper pieces which I can now sort to size and color.
Well, I was watching some YouTube videos one evening and saw another way to store them...one that is really better for the smaller ephemera. The crafter put them in a drawing book attaching with a small amount of double sided tape. What's nice is that instead of these items in a pocket with several others, I can now see them individually. I had a new mixed media book...
Now the book is full but it sure is nice to see things. Check out these pages...
