It's a bit hot this week with highs in the 90's.  And although the sky looks threatening and the wind picks up late afternoon, there's no rain.

I am still walking every morning, 35 minutes today.  Not exactly fun, but I need to continue even if I don't enjoy it...use it or lose it...is my thought exactly.

Looks like I am going to do some planting today out here.  Some vegetables, peas, I think.  The plan is to plant them in a couple containers and place the containers on the front porch so they get sunlight in the morning but not in the hot afternoon.

I worked on my collage fish and I really think that it's coming along nicely.  Check this photo out...

The fin needs to be larger and I think I am going to introduce another color wave with it...turquoise.  I'm also thinking of adding some lace.  I love the way the top of the fish is lending movement.  I'm a bit stumped on how to handle the tail though.  I think I may include some decorative thread eventually.

So how's your week going?  I hope if not great, at least acceptable.  Maybe you need a new perspective, a broader look at the situation.  Actually changing your perspective can change your life.  For instance, we were all brought up with certain expectations and many of us carry those through our entire life.  But are they always beneficial?

I loved my mother and at one time felt the need to live up to her expectations, including what I call, 'white glove cleaning'.  In other words, the house had to be perfectly straight and clean before anything else.  It took a while, but I finally understood that those types of expectations were not beneficial for me...especially with four children.  If I kept the house as clean and straight as her's, I would never have the time to spend creating.  And let's face it, creating is far more important to me than a clean house.  I still, though, like to keep things a bit straight and organized...some things are harder to change!

Maybe it's time for you to change your perspective...or at least consider what possibilities a change could bring to your life.

That's all for now...

Talk with you tomorrow...
