Another late day and another rose on the rose bush.  Yes, I worked in Duchess again this morning.  I have washed and cleaned about three-fourths of her so far.  I got a later start this morning...still tired from yesterday's marathon cleaning.  But I worked around three and a half hours and got almost all of the dirt, etc., out.

I know there is one more drawer that is going to be a mess but other than that, I should finish it all tomorrow morning.

The little Cookie Monster is running around in my room right now.  He's gotten bigger, stronger and he must be teething because he is biting everything...including hands and fingers!

I finished quilting the fish collage...

I quilted the water heavily so that the seaweeds and fish stand out.  I did outline a few portions of the fish like the eye, fins, etc.  They stand out really well.  I have been debating on embellishing it with some beadwork but I think it may be overkill...not sure yet.  And I really need to come up with a name soon...I have one more week before I take pictures for the summer gallery.

We had one large pine tree taken down this past weekend.  It was completely hollow on the inside.  I think a big wind storm would have taken it down.  They also took a large, dead limb off of another pine tree.  That's one worry off our minds.
