I'm late this morning for a good reason.  I was up and working in Duchess at 7am trying to clean her up and take care of those last items that no one wants...or no one wants to take responsibility for !!!

Duchess was very dirty.  Last summer while I was gone (remember the fire) the kids first crammed her full of things they moved out of the house but could not store in the storage unit.  Then they kept her closed tight all the time.  Well, you can imagine how bad it was. And, of course, we did have a mouse or mice!

So, today I managed to move out, organize and clean (top to bottom) half of the trailer.  Most of it went to the garbage can.  Believe it or not, there is no mold in the trailer itself.  There is on the outside just not the inside.

I quit working around 12:45pm.  I hope to finish tomorrow morning but that only happens if my son moves his stuff out.  The plan is to use Duchess for storage until another shed is built.  Then I plan to donate her.

This past weekend I worked a lot on the fish collage.  The collage part is finished...

And I have it already to quilt (backing, batting, collage top and one thin layer of tulle).  The tulle is hard to see in the picture, isn't it?...

I have begun quilting it and will share that photo tomorrow.  Still haven't come up with a name...but I do know that this will be the first in a series of collage creations.

I also did a bit of doodling...

I discovered a new to me series titled Patience on PBS.  Interesting 'cop' show where a female civilian investigator has autism.

Well, I have some laundry (the last load from Duchess) to do.  I cut up my cucumbers and put them in a vinegar, water & sugar mixture.  I remember both my grandmother and my mother doing this.  I need to add a small onion to the mixture.  It's a refreshingly different taste for summer.

I did pick up two more tomato plants and need to get them planted either today or tomorrow.  And the little 'Cookie Monster' is growing by leaps and bounds.  We have had all three cats in a room together and the hissing has ceased but we are not letting them mingle until the all clear from the vet.

That's it for now...talk with you tomorrow (probably late again)...
