Simple Living with NO SNOW!!!!!

The very best thing about today was NO SNOW!!!!!!!!  It was still cold but the fact that it didn't snow was wonderful...don't get me wrong.   I love snow, but May?   Are you kidding???

So I have been trying to catch up on reading the blogs I subscribe to...I got so far behind on our camping trip with no useable internet connection that the reader said 1,000+.   I have to admit that I did a lot (A LOT) of scanning, but I finally finished.

While 'power reading' the backlog of blogs I got an interesting impression.   Now, I use the Google Reader and have set up my blogs in several different folders including crafts, quilting, journal, challenges, simple living, frugal living and miscellaneous.

Across the spectrum, I came away with the impression of 'uncomplicated living', of paring down to essentials and wants, of streamlining lives to live the way we want to rather than what culture is dictating.

It was refreshing.   First I read many different approaches of attaining the desired life.   And an affirmation by bloggers that the best way to simplify our lives is to do what works for each person.   There is no one-size-fits all approach.

And I even had this impression from the crafting, quilting, journaling blogs.  Getting down to basics and then exploring what works for the crafter, artist, quilter and journaling.

So where do you fit in my blog impression?   Are you listening to your own inner voice as to how you really want to live, work, craft, quilt, etc?  And if you are and did, is it working for you?   I hope so because it certainly is for me.

Thanks for stopping by...
