Today was a snowy, sleety, rainy, cold, gray day...I'm trying hard to be thankful for it, but it sure is hard. I do know that the water, in whatever form it falls from the sky, is important around here because there are only a few more weeks left of the 'rainy season'.
So, for all the moisture that has fallen this week, thanks. It would be nice to see a little sun, though! Here's a couple pictures from recent trips to alleviate the grayness...
And about Simple Living...
I was recently asked why anyone would want to get rid of all the things that they had accumulated through the years...interesting question. If you spent your life accumulating your possessions, I guess you might be brought up short if someone asked you to consider getting rid of some things.
My answer was simple, if your things are important to you, keep them. Goodness, I have kept things that are of importance either by their utility or beauty or even memories but then...
I think the real question behind the question is why would anyone want to subscribe to the movement to simplify your life. Now that's a whole other consideration...and an interesting one. Why are people subscribing to a simpler life?
What about you? Are you considering a simpler life? Or have you already begun the process? I would be interested in knowing why? Really, it's not a rhetorical question, I'm really interested in why people consider living a simpler life. Leave me a comment if you can.
I hope your week is going well. Only two more days until the weekend...hang in there!!!
Thanks for stopping by...
