I told you it was great. All the neat little boxes have such original depictions. Here are some closeups so you can see all of them...
What's really nice is that this fits the decor of my trailer perfectly. I don't want to hang the shadowbox, but I have a large plate holder (have to find it) that will hold it at a slight angle. And it will go on the table right next to the sofa. Thanks to my swap partner for such a great gift.
Well, I'm sitting in my trailer taking a break from writing (that enormous assignment with the impossible deadline) and the storms are moving in...right on schedule. This morning I took a picture of the mountains from the patio while it was a bit sunny.
I noticed two things. First, there is still snow on the mountains (see the white patches at the top - that really is snow!!!) and it's been at least a decade since there was snow on the mountains around here in July.
Also, notice how green the mountains are. Another thing that we haven't seen here in at least a decade but that's because we have had a nice amount of rain. Maybe the weather is getting back to normal...one could hope at least!
Well, I need to get back to writing...
