I managed to get some more things done in the trailer today but not until after the Ikea snafu! You see, I was going to Ikea to pick up a few things for the house. So, I packed the grandkids in the car and off we went.
Forty minutes later in the Ikea parking lot I opened my purse to put my keys in only to find that my wallet was not there!!!!! I had taken it out to pick up some take-out for supper last night and forgot to put it back in!!!!
So home we went. (I'll try again tomorrow!) After heaving a very loud sigh, I did manage to find it quite funny. And both grandkids promised to make sure I had it with me the next time we went!!!
So, has anyone else done that?
Well, here are some pictures from the trailer...
I am looking for some baskets to replace the white plastic tubs. As I need the tubs to finish packing the pantry, I thought that a couple baskets would look nicer.
Notice the pictures hanging up. I used a magnet strip hung with the 3M adhesive hooks. I then put a strip of magnetic tape on the back of the pictures and hung them on the magnetic strip. It worked very well.
The white chest of drawers will be used for craft/office supplies. Notice the small ironing board between the drawers and the built-in shelf.
I found out that sometimes I wanted the screen door open but without the sun shining in. I had an extra twin top sheet that was very light. So I hung it using the 3M adhesive hangers and a rod. It works beautifully.
I like the kitchen area. There's a lot of counter space considering how small the trailer is. Notice that between the built in shelf and the kitchen counter I have enough room for a folding chair (which I use for exercises) and a large tv tray both of which are light weight.
I have several boxes which I picked up on sale to store more of my art/craft things in. They have a magnetic close and their size is just right. Now I have to decide what to put in each one...
Well, that's all for now. I hope to do some more organizing later this week and I will post more pictures.
