I had the opportunity to read someone's writing on words today. It was moving, enlightening and a blessing to me. When I thought about this new year's word, I thought of how much this reading meant to me.
A Blessing. There are many definitions of blessings most of which invoke God - however you define God.
For me, though, this is the definition of blessing that I enjoy...a beneficial thing for which one is grateful; something that brings well-being.
It is my hope that as I live out my life this year, some small thing that I may present in this blog will become a blessing to some reader. And, I promise that I will be more conscious of those blessings that come my way…many of which pass by unnoticed.
For all of you who have wondered, I did close the house, get everything into storage, ready the trailer for travel, drive down to Alabama (It was a wild ride to say the least with a clogged I95, wind and torrential rain, etc. but I made it.) and set up my trailer at a campgrounds. All three of us…me and the cats…are fine if a bit exhausted.
I will be resuming regular blogging on Monday, January 6. Until then, I wish all of you a Happy, Safe and Enjoyable New Year…
