Well, the daylight will be getting longer...hurrah...going to work and coming home in the dark does get old and even tho I no longer work, I still keep those hours for the most part.
I finished baking the cranberry pudding (think plum pudding), fruitcake cupcakes (although the missing candied cherries was obvious, it did taste good.), fudge (it was successful...the last couple of years my fudge has been more soup than fudge. I did find the old recipe which used to be on the marshmallow creme jar. The new one didn't work for me.)
I am going to use the crockpot recipe for rice pudding so I will do that tomorrow, along with split pea soup.
Mostly I will wrap presents, get baskets ready to deliver and watch bowl games.
First and last? Well, the nativity scene at the top was the first Christmas decoration my husband and I bought together and the Santa Claus above was the last thing we bought together...ah...memories, so wonderful to hold on to while making new ones.
I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season, sharing time with friends and family, taking some moments for yourself, reaching out to those in need, finding that special feeling deep within, and relaxing in the warmth of love...
Thanks for sharing some time with me...
I will be back after the holidays...
Til then...be safe...
