ONE LITTLE TAG CHALLENGE USES & LEARNING TO USE THE CAMERA AGAIN
Today it was 29 degrees when I went out to move SnowWhite at 11:00am but the sun was shining bright and there was no wind so it seemed much warmer. But the weekend will bring mid to high 50's once again.
I have some of the One Little Tag Challenges completed and photographed...
The theme is purple. I am using this particular challenge, at least for the next several weeks, as a mark making exercise. In other words, I pick up a pen and just begin. I do the background with either stamps or chalk prior to working each day.
It's interesting to note that when I begin, I have no idea what I am going to do. I also have a time limit of ten minutes for this challenge once the supplies are gathered. And right now I am only using markers, colored pencils or black pens in assorted sizes.
I am still not happy with the pictures I have taken to post on Etsy, so I've decided to take a quick course on taking pictures without using automatic settings. I used to take pictures with my dad's old rolly camera and that had no automatic setting. But it's been so long that I need a refresher course.
I checked out some sites on You Tube but haven't come across indepth information. I saw that Craftsy has several courses, most on sale. Then I saw that for $14.99/month I could become a member and have access to 1300 (and counting) courses. I am trying to decide whether to do it or not.
I have cancelled my You Tube Red(one dollar less than Craftsy) which I needed to download and play music for the Holiday Party that didn't happen. And I have not been listening to either Netflix nor Hulu and am going to cancel them also. I will still have Amazon Prime and Acorn (BBC shows). So, I will come out ahead. And I have taken classes at Craftsy and enjoyed them. I guess I just talked myself into joining! I'll let you know what I think about the membership.
Hope the weather is great where you live...
Or at least not too bad...
Thanks for stopping in for a few minutes...
Talk with you tomorrow...
