Another wonderful, sunny morning. I could get used to this very easily. It's getting warmer sooner...in the low 50's today and the high 50's this weekend. Again, far too soon but I am going to take advantage and enjoy it!
So the Supreme Court is going to hear a very important case this morning concerned if Trump can be on the ballot in Colorado. I think it may be a no win situation for them.
And talk about no win...the GOP voted down a bipartisan historic bill on the border with everything they wanted but then refused to fund nations in conflict unless the border situation was addressed first...can anyone say 'catch 22'!
So, I did promise to post a picture of the spring 'branch'. I took the picture at night because the daylight pictures did not highlight the baskets. Here is it...
With the left over florals and large crocheted eggs, I took an old basket and added the items...
There were enough eggs to completely fill the edges of the basket. It's sitting in the pass through window from the exercise room to the living/dining room.
With the temperatures in the 50's I decided to turn down the furnace to save some money. It may not have come on until this evening but I choose to make sure it didn't.
I began a new cosy mystery book by Terri Thayer called 'Wild Goose Chase'. And as the title implies, it's a murder mystery set around a small town quilt shop. So far, it's been a fun read.
Have a great day...get out if possible and enjoy nature...talk with you later.
