Yesterday, I worked in Duchess, sorting and trying to get things organized. Some of you may be wondering why I am having to spend so much time in Duchess which is my travel trailer. Well, at the end of moving stuff out of the house, folks threw all sorts of things into the trailer just to finish up getting out of the house after the fire. Then, the trailer was closed all through summer, something I never do. As a result, there was a bit of mold. And to top it off, mice got in. So you see, it's quite a messy job.
I also finished hanging pictures in the dining room and moved seven heavy boxes into the house from the storage trailer as well as all the normal things like straightening up and doing the dishes, etc. A busy day.
But, I did get in some craft time. I made a cover for a new journal. It's going to be a flowery, peaching pink journal. The outside cover is below. The right hand side is the front with lots of flowers. The left hand side is the back and it has the writing pad which can be taken out and used to write on...
The writing pad is used when writing on with one of the note pads contained in the journal. It is made out of very heavy cardboard and covered on both sides. Then I added clear packing tape on the writing side.
The inside of the cover has two pockets each containing a note pad with a saying at the top to consider when writing. The center white strip will be covered up when I add the signatures to the journal.
The journal is five inches by six and a half inches with an inch and a half spine. There will be lots of space for three signatures.
Well, that's all for today.
Lots to do...but I will enjoy it. Hope you will have an enjoyable day also.
Talk with you tomorrow...
