Thanksgiving Week!  If you haven't made plans, it's time...even if you are celebrating alone!  We are having a few folks and a very relaxed celebration.

Today, my plans are to finish up shopping for groceries including a fresh heritage turkey at one of the farmer's markets!  That's after I stop at Goodwill to empty out SnowWhite which is full of items for donation.

We brought in all the book boxes from the storage trailer so I will be unpacking those and putting them on shelves after cleaning.  That's tomorrow's plans as well as finish wrapping the Christmas presents and packing them up for mailing.  Wednesday, I will be making the pies and salad.

So those are my plans...what are yours?

This past weekend, I made three small Christmas Decorations which look really nice...

I used styrofoam for the base, covering each form by wrapping white yarn around twice, securing at the beginning and endiing with glue.  For the top, I made a pompom by winding the yarn around a three inch card 60 times, tying the center, clipping and trimming to fit the top of the styrofoam and finally gluing it to the top..  I then crocheted twelve small snowflakes for each tree, each snowflake about an inch in diameter.  Using hot glue, I attached each snowflake to the tree and added a bead in the center.

I also had time to make some more cards and notepads to for the journal...

The card have a place to write and a prompt on the back sides.  Each fits nicely into the pockets and tucks.

It was nice to see my Vikings win in overtime although it was a bit stressful having to go to overtime.

Well, I do need to get going, today's errand list is large...

Talk with you tomorrow...
