Well, it's a bit warmer this morning...30 degrees instead of 27 degrees.  It's bright and sunny, though, and the high is forecast to be in the low 50's.  A day to work outside?  Well, there's always hope but there's also rain in the forecast!

I did get my taxes filed yesterday.  Took longer than expected because there was an error in the state return that took a couple hours to find...at least it took me a couple hours to understand and find the error.  Once I found it, I realized that it was really a stupid error...one that was also in the federal return but not tagged as an error.  Oh well, they're done and filed for the year.

I worked on another page in my art journal.  The page began as a paper bag, cut down to the size of a two page spread.  I wanted to cover it with torn pages from a book.  (Don't worry, the book was scheduled for the landfill...I'm using it instead in art journals.).

I always start with a page full of print in the center of the page glued down with stick glue.  I then tear several pieces, ink the edges and then glue down with a stick glue.

When covered, you can do anything from painting to stamping to inking to more collaging.  This is the page so far...finished?  Maybe but I like to go back to 'finished' pages and add more.

And here's a photo of the fish collage so far.  I still need to add some sea shells on the bottom.  After that, all I have to do is quilt it...

So, today I have a few things to finish including organizing the shelves in the hallway, hang a few art quilts and if the weather is nice, work outside on the containers.  After that...crafting and a couple more zoom chats.

I hope you have an amazing day...
Talk with you tomorrow...
