Looking out the window there are some small trees with rust colored leaves but most trees are still green.
No rain the forecast for the next ten days...but those forecasts generally change.
I was looking at some of the places I want to visit this fall and found out that if I wanted to see the 'Dear Jane Quilt' I needed to go this week or next because it was being removed back to storage around the middle of October. I always like to see the quilt along with the permanent collection of Grandma Moses' paintings which, as I have said dozens of times, bring a smile to my face.
I would have liked to go towards the end of October when the color is beautiful in Vermont but may have to go earlier. Or maybe I could go twice. It really isn't very far from Elizaville at all.
The Vikings lost...I could ask what's new...but it was a close game. I hope they put in the new quarterback. He's young and inexperienced but very good. Just like the new quarterback for the New York Giants.
The studio is done...well, there are still a few items which I am undecided about but for the most part done! I didn't work in the studio this past weekend as I ran errands on Saturday and watched football all day on Sunday. But studio work begins today. Right after my exercises. First off, finish quilting the winter scene.
Later this week I want to work more on the yard but things I thought I would be doing are better done in the spring. However, I do want to dig up and divide the hosta plants. And believe me, there are a lot of them.
I think I will also pick the last of the eggplants and take out that plant. The peppers are still producing so I will leave those along with the herbs.
There's a new challenge on the sidebar. Next to last one...can you believe that October begins Wednesday? Like I said, that slide from fall holidays to winter holidays goes fast...hang on.
Have a great day...
Talk with you tomorrow...
