The weekend went well.  I made it to the guild meeting on Saturday.  It was a relatively small group compared to what we had before covid but still all the tables were filled.

And the website was welcomed although I am not sure that many of them understood what I was saying about browsers, cookies, native elements and third party software.  To be honest, I'm not sure how many of the older members use the website but I do know the younger members do use it.

We have 21 quilts so far for the online quilt show which is a nice number.  I know that more folks are signing up next month.

And, we did get the cover on Duchess so if it rains or snows there should be no leaks inside.  But sealing the roof will have to wait until next year.  And who knows, if we have another storage shed by then, I can donate Duchess...or even possibly sell her.  No I have no more plans on using her.  I would like a smaller camping unit...not a tent but maybe a pop-up with hard sides.

So, right now there's a furnace person working on our furnace, getting it ready for winter.  All three cats are closeted so he can go in and out without me worrying that one will get outside.

As I said before, the season of orange is up both inside and out.  I have some outside work to do with plants.  And the last of the vegetable garden needs cleaning.  I wasn't very successful except with peppers, herbs, eggplant and squash.  My tomatoes were barely productive and I lost the beans early on.  But that will help me figure out what to do next year.  One thing is that I have to water more often.

I hope, fingers crossed, that I can work on some creative ventures today.  Yesterday's dinner was one of those wonderful Sunday Dinners, a roast, baked potatoes, gravy and green bean casserole with enough leftovers for the next couple of suppers.

There's another challenge idea posted on the sidebar.  Check it out.  You know I used to always wear a necklace, pin and bracelet along with my watch and rings.  I hardly wear anything now except my watch.  Interesting how fashion changes.

Have a great day...

Talk with you tomorrow...
