This is a photo of our upper front door.  I would have liked to put the wreath on the door but there was no place on the screen door and not enough room between the wooden door and the screen door.  So I put it on one side of the railing and then balanced it with the flowers and 'house' on the other side.  Looks nice.

I worked outside in the garden again yesterday.  I picked the rest of the zucchini squash and then pulled all the vines from the squash and the cucumbers.

I then shredded several large zucchini squash and wound up with five one cup packages and 6 two cup packages which I have frozen for later use in baking or to make fritters.

So the garden is okay for the next couple of weeks.  But I do have to decide how to save the herbs...either freeze or dry.  

The folks who took care of the yellow jackets are coming back today to make a final check.  AND the car is done so we will pick it up this afternoon and that means that I have a vehicle again!

I was able to spend a few minutes yesterday creating one page in the latest journal...

Today I think I will spend time straightening up the house, checking what to have to dinner tonight and then spend a significant time in my studio.

Do something special this weekend...find a fall festival...take a hike...etc...
