One more day of 'spring like' weather. It looks like winter may return in a day or two.  And although I enjoyed the warmer weather I'm not sure if it is a good thing or not considering global warming possibilities.

Actually, it was so warm yesterday that I had the window open in my studio and the door open in the large room.  I also was able to take down the outdoor Christmas decorations and pack them up.  Today I plan on moving them out to Duchess and take up the extension cords and put them away.

And with the warmer weather, I wanted something lighter to eat and that led to tuna salad.  You probably have your own version of this salad...mine includes a can of tuna, half a box of pasta rings, half a cup of frozen peas, a small diced onion, some dill and mayo.  An inexpensive salad that pairs well with an inexpensive cup of tomato soup.

Are you doing any reading?  I'm quite sure that reading will be on my list of intentions, how about you?  What am I reading right now?  Several books as a matter of fact.  First up, 'The Cosmic Dance' by Joyce Rupp.  Just getting into this book but it has a ethereal feeling.  Second, 'The Power of Now' by Eckhart Tolle.  This an old book which has been a New York Times Bestseller List.  The cover states that this is a guide to spiritual enlightenment but so far I feel it's more about living in the moment.

I have a book of poems by Maya Angelou and I reread her poem 'On the Pulse of Morning' which she introduced at the inauguration of Bill Clinton in the 90's.  I absolutely love this poem.

I am also reading Real Simple's 'Find Your Balance' and 'Living Quietly' magazine.  Finally, I am not reading in the sense of a fiction book, but checking for ideas, 'Small Art Quilts:  Explorations in Paint & Stitch' by Deborah O'Hare.  Interestingly, I am not reading any fiction books right now and I love fiction.

Yesterday I worked on the hand-made wall quilt by auditioning the 'ground' part of the quilt.  I'm not totally satisfied with this arrangement so far but here it is...

I also need to work on the sky before I begin hand sewing.  I am not sure if I will leave the edges raw or if I will turn them under but I am leaning toward raw edges because a lot of the elements I plan on adding are going to be quite small.

So how are you doing with your list of intentions?  Have you found patterns and/or categories that you can use to  arrange your list?  And have you decided on a few big intentions or a lot small intentions?  Lots of questions to think about but answering these will help you find intentions that you will probably want to focus on.

Have an amazing day and if it's nice, spend some time outdoors...

Talk with you tomorrow...
