Well, I was going to post a picture of winter but we woke up to warm temperatures (38 degrees) and rain this morning with a high in the 40's again.  It simply does not feel like winter.  Although it is very gray and cloudy.

I know that further north of us, they are looking at upwards to two feet of snow but not here.  I imagine that more rivers are going to be out of their banks with the three hours of rain we got.  Both the rain and any leftover snow melting will find their way to the rivers.  Doesn't this usually happen in spring?  Not winter!

So, today is craft day and believe me, I will be crafting most of the day because I have little else to get in the way...a load of laundry and that's it.  I've already done my exercises both 30 minutes of cycling and 20 minutes of hard core workout.

Yesterday, because my son's car was being dropped off in the evening at the shop, SnowWhite was here so I could get out and about.  I wound up going to two Michael's stores.  Neither had the fabric that Michaels is supposed to stock as a replacement for JoAnns.  I really needed stick glue and the first store was out except for school stick glue and I need craft stick glue.

I did purchase a few other items.  One I want to use today.  I love to work with clay, especially on a wheel but I haven't had the opportunity for a long time.  So I picked up some air dry clay.  To be honest, I have purchased this before but waited so long to use it that it dried out.  Today is the day I am going to have fun with clay.  I also picked up a few items for junk journaling...

And some glue sticks...the second Michaels had three!  After Michaels I went to Barnes and Nobel.  I absolutely love to shop at this store but only for magazines.  (All my books, except a few craft books, are digital now.). But I did pick up four magazines with my 'mad' money which I have been saving for several months...

I was really happy to find the Gardeners' World Guide for 2026.  It will remind me when to start seeds.  I've always loved Daphne's Diary simply for the beauty of the magazine itself.  It really appeals to me.  Art Quilting Studio always gets my imagination going and Bella Grace gives me, I guess, comfort or something similar to that.

I plan to take a short walk outside today at the warmest time.  It will be nice to be out in nature and see how the neighborhood looks.  The ice fisher folks who have been out on the lake have finally taken down their ice houses...way to late as far as I'm concerned as there has been open water in the middle of the small lake for several days.

I will share today's craft projects with you tomorrow.  I hope you have a good deal or even a little amount of time to play with your craft projects whatever they are.  And if you're a bit crazy about what's going on in the world right now, find a slow craft like stitching, embroidery, quilting, etc. to settle your mind and enjoy.

Have a great day...

Talk with you tomorrow...
