It's 36 right now going to a high of 48.  Spring?  Already?  Nope...we have a month and a few days before then.  And tomorrow with highs in the 40's they're expecting snow?  Really, snow?  I thought with those temperatures it would be rain!  Oh well, guess I'll have to wait and see.

I spent most of yesterday reading another cosy mystery book in the 'Kitty Underhay Series' by Helena Dixon.  It was relaxing and fun.

Remember when I said that I liked the latest arrangement in my studio...well, I still do but even more so.  There was one extremely small change - actually changing places with two small rolling carts.  And that small move gave me more space than I could even imagine.

And I finally sorted my decorative papers.  I cut a box down the the size of folders and then sorted the papers into different folders...

So I think I can say that the studio is finally done!  Of course, when I began my projects in earnest, it will look like a tornado went through but at least things can be found a bit easier...actually, I still have one place to finish.  The container with small drawers.  They are actually sorted, just not labeled yet!

I was reading an article on how people go about changing, organizing, simplifying.  Some folks like to plan and take it one step at a time and others like the chaos approach...do everything all at once!  Which do you like to do?  There's no right or wrong answer here, just what works for you.

Like the choas approach...go for it.  You can breathe a sigh of relief when it's done.  Like the slower step by step approach?  That means that you can do other things while getting your place in order.

I did take time to make some larger envelopes and pages for my slow-making journal...

I haven't decorated either of them yet but at least I have the base done.  And the fabric projects fit into the envelopes nicely.  Today, I plan on working on the pages for an hour or so.

By the way, have you been moving...as in exercising...use it or lose it!  And when you're my age, it's very easy to lose.  I'm still putting in 30 minutes on the bike and 30 minutes either walking or strength training a minimum of five days a week, but mostly for six days.

One final note...you know most folks take their dogs for a walk using a harness and leash...well, we take our cat 'Cookie' for a walk and he loves it.  He would rather be outside than inside believe me...he actually darted out the door once without a leash but we were able to catch him fast...talk about scary.  One reason...we have extremely large birds of prey here.

Have a great day

Talk with you tomorrow...
