Not quite as warm today but the snow is really melting.  The snow on the side of the road left by the snowplow are now gentle mounds!

And there are several 40 degree days in the next 10 days.

Unfortunately, I do have a water leak problem in the studio where the window which is a large three window panel meets the wall.  It doesn't take up all the window space, only about a third, but the drips are pretty consistent.  Will have to deal with that this summer.

I added a pocket to the hand sewing transportable craft desk to hold things that are being worked on...

And yes, those are the hand sewn 'bricks' that I am going work on for my 100 Day Project.  I have seven 'bricks' already to stitch and quilt.

I think this is going to be a fun project.

I did promise a valentine project.  It's one I have made before out of felt and yarn.  You cut two pieces, one white and one red, folded in half with the flat side on the fold and make three cuts as shown...

It's kind of tricky but you weave the two together on both sides...

Because the felt is not stiff, the last strip woven is much easier.  What you want is a heart that opens and in which you can put things...

Add a handle made out of braided yarn or strips of felt and a few buttons for decoration and you have a very cute valentine.  I also, as you can see, stitched around the bottom part of the heart to secure the closure...

Have an amazing day and enjoy some time reading...
Talk with you tomorrow...
