Well, we had an exciting night.  Loud thunder and almost constant lightening, wild winds and huge buckets of water striking all at once...and then we lost electricity!

The storm left us in the middle of the night but the electricity didn't return until this morning!  At 10am it's 71 degrees out...another warm...make that hot...day way too soon.  It's only spring and this old body is having a time with the temperature highs and lows.  And I notice that out west they are forecasting snow today!!!  And next week we are scheduled for a big cool down!  And yet folks don't believe that there is global warming!

I managed to finish all the work I had planned to do yesterday except pick up my meds.  That's on this morning's schedule.  The rain left the yard soggy so no yard work but I may be able to dig up and separate some of the hostas that are up and lining the sidewalk.

Yesterday was tax day...April 15th...I hope you were able to get your taxes filed, or an extension if needed.  Yesterday was also the halfway mark of the month.  If you had any April Intentions to do, how are they coming along?  Mine are done, thank goodness.  But I think I will add one intention for the remainder of the month.  Going to check it out to see if it's doable...if not it will have to wait until June.

I have been working with some of the fabric challenges and will post pictures tomorrow.  But I did work on one four page spread for a journal that used the first slow making journal pages that were too small.  That reminds me, I haven't posted the final pages for the slow making journal yet.  I will try and take pictures this coming weekend and post them next week.

Here's the latest four page spread, front page first followed by the inside layout and finally the last page...

I think I will do a bit more tweaking on this spread before I call it done.  Actually, I think most junk journal makers never say their journal is finished because it's very tempting to go back and add more.  The trick is to know when to stop but for some enough is never enough!!!

That's all for today...hope you have a wonderful one...
Talk with you tomorrow...
