And speaking of plants, I have spent several hours each morning taking care of the plants I brought back with me.
And I am both out of shape (I took a vacation from my exercises while out west...never again!) and old! (Going to be 81 in August!)
The upshot was that it took me a quite a while to plant everything with lots of breaks and a ton of water. Although not really hot, the sun wasn't easy to take nor was the high humidity.
I managed to get all the vegetables planted in both the raised beds and the back garden plot. Here are two beds of tomatoes...
And here's a bed of peppers both hot and mild...
Here's a bed with chives, dill, parsley and eggplant...
Finally, in the back garden plot I have green beans around the fence, cucumbers in the middle and summer squash on the far side...
I have lots of flowers to plant, bushes to deadhead, plants to move and weeds to pull. There seems to be no end to yard work if I want a nice colorful yard. And that doesn't even include the greenhouse work. I still have lots of tomato plants which I will try and raise in the greenhouse along with herbs and hopefully start the greens for salads!

So that's what I've been up to...still haven't unpacked and straightened out my studio...maybe today...maybe not...
One thing I have learned is that at my age, I need to take it easy when my body says to take it easy...well, at least most times! Hope you listen to what your body is telling you...
Have an extraordinary day...
Talk with you tomorrow...
