I hope your holiday celebrations were everything you wanted. We celebrated very quietly. Our Christmas Eve dinner of lobster was excellent, but they were so big that we could not finish them...so we had the rest of the lobster on Christmas. We saved our scallops and shrimp for today.
If you can, take some time to rest before the New Year's Celebrations. We have not done much to celebrate New Year's Day lately except to make sure we have some homemade Egg Nog. I also watch the celebrations at Time's Square. Of course, there is football, football and more football (which I love)!!!!!!!!
I have done some more mental meandering about next year's blog and have come to some decisions.
First of all, I really want to create a picture journal – so I will be posting a picture with each blog. I am a little fuzzy about how to decide what type of pictures to take. I could go with specific subjects or I could go with whatever catches my fancy.
I think to begin with I will take whatever catches my fancy. Later on in the year I may decide to work on specific ideas. I am looking forward to working on my photographs – both taking them and working with the digital image.
I also want to work on some financial aspect. I am still working out the details of how to do this, but I know that I want to challenge myself in this area.
And finally, I still want the main focus of my blog to be about the art of crafting mostly focused on fabric art, but not limiting to that only.
Also, I have a couple surprise ideas I am working on but will share these later.
