Landscape Part Three and Frugal Friday

I'm not sure what the problem was yesterday, but I am not having any problems today...

Landscape Part Three...
This is where we left it last week.   You have the option to finish it here, sew on the houses and trees and add a binding, but for fun why not add some other elements.  For instance, you can add some fences by cutting strips of fabric.

And placing them on the landscape.   In the following examples, fences were put around two of the houses.   Notice also that walkways were added as well as some foliage on the houses.   At one house a clothesline and at the other a swing was added.

Some of the pieces of fabric were very small so instead of attaching with pins, you can use a fabric glue to hold on a temporary basis.   (I like to use a stick glue pen which has a smaller glue area.   I found mine at an office supply store.)

Another option for adding small elements is by using a fabric marker.   Be sure to use a fabric marker rather than a regular marker because the regular marker will run.

Below are some pictures of some of my additions.  Remember this is a landscape to try out things and have fun, not create a masterpiece...

And here is the full picture as so far...

Have fun adding to your landscape.   Next time we'll look at finishing the landscape.

Weekly Challenge...
I did spend money this week.   I wound up purchasing some floral scrapbook items for my journal pages and for my next set of inchies.   The nice thing is that they were all on sale at half price.   I also downloaded a digital magazine.   So my total expenses were $23.98.   Still under my $25.00 challenge!

I hope you have a great weekend.   Be sure to take some time for yourself.
Thanks for visiting.   See you next week...
