I finally got the camera to give up it's pictures!!!! So what did it look like with all the snow???
I mean really!!! Does Mother Nature realize that it is the end of April??? There are tulips and trees flowering all over Salt Lake City...will they every bloom here??? Oh well...enough complaining.
I'm not going to post all my pictures from the camping trip, but here is one to peak your curiosity. This is a picture of Brice Canyon. And yes the rock formations really are that color...
Finally, I did manage to finish and send out my inchies for the April 'Spring Flowers' Swap. To make the flowers I used a quilling technique.
In the picture of supplies, the small tool on the plastic bag is a quilling tool. There is a split at the top of the tool into which you slip the end of the quilling paper strips (shown on the left of the picture).
Once you twirl the paper strips into the circles as shown in the second picture, you add a bit of glue (I like using a glue pen as shown in the first picture) to secure. Then you glue the circles together to make the flowers.
I added a butterfly charm which swings freely to finish the inchie. I think they are cute.
