Weekend Crafting and Goals?

Woke up Sunday Morning to this...
SNOW!!!!
And it was still snowing when I took this picture!!!
See any mountains?   Nope!   It was snowing too hard!!!

I played around with stamp pads to make backgrounds for, as it turned out, some doodles.

This was a lot of fun.   I used watercolor paper for the base.   I normally use watercolors or acrylic paint for backgrounds so I thought that maybe this would be a different way to achieve unique background.

Here's a doodle I did using one of these backgrounds...

I also had fun this weekend playing with left over pieces of fabric.   I used Mod Podge and a piece of watercolor paper plus the scraps.   The pictures tell the story...
I liked the results!!!

On another note, I've noticed that several blogs are putting down goals for the week.   I actually find this an interesting idea.   It does give one a gentle nudge to accomplish,  or at least try to accomplish the goals.   So what are my goals for this week...hmmmm...well, I really hadn't thought of any.

Okay, let's start small.   How about...
     Exercising six days this week
Keep spending within my $25.00 limit
Posting on my blog five days this week
     Lose two pounds
Comment on five blogs each day

I could list a lot more, but let's see how I do on these.   By the way,  the family including me are going to try camping this coming weekend...of course, the weather just changed and predicted snow...but it will be a new experience for me.   I hope to take lots of pictures and share them with you next week.

Thanks for stopping by...

My Journey of Change...
Well, I had quite a crying time Saturday night...maybe it was the change of weather from a beautiful sunny warm 55 degrees to 10 degrees and snow...but maybe not.   I wound up having a 'conversation' with the love of my life...doesn't that sound weird...after all tomorrow will be the second month anniversary of his death.   I know, I know...I didn't really talk with him, but I held a conversation in my head all the same.   It was quietly comforting.    I wonder, have you ever done anything like it?
