Camping with My New Camper!!!

This is a river that is exiting a mountain through which it flows!   (That sentence was hard to construct!)
If you ever find yourself in Garden City, Utah at Bear Lake, take highway 89 to Logan, Utah.   It has the most spectacular scenery.

Guess what?   I am camping the first time with my camper.   It has been very enlightening but a lot of fun.

I have a picture of the pop-up screen tent, including the kitties.   Let me tell you, they meowed almost as much as they did when I first brought them into the camper.
And yes, that's my bike...I can even ride it...after a fashion!!!

I have been busy with my swaps...Here are some pictures from the shadowbox Birthday Swap.   I want to make some wrapped boxes to add to the middle box on the bottom.   Other than that it is pretty much done except the outside of the box.

It's really not my style, but I just loved making this swap.   By the way, the invitation at the top reads "Please come to my Birthday Party.   I'm going to have a clown with balloons and music to listen to, tea to drink and my pet chicks to play with all in my special flower garden."  Some of the figurines are quite old.  I found them in an antique mall.

I have also finished my latest Inchies Swap.  The theme was Music and/or Chocolate...I chose music!

And finally, I am back working on my fabric collages.   I have begun to add embroidery thread to this collage...beads next...

So what are you up to lately?   Can you believe that summer is almost here?

Thanks for visiting...

My Journey of Change...
I have been alone these past two days, without any family around, for the first time since Bill died.   I've made it, but being completely alone after 43 years of being with someone is not much fun.   I know I could continue living with my kids, but that really does not fill the need of companionship.

Family and friends are great and believe me, they help.   But the fact is that when you lose the love of your life it's hard.   Even when each of you has given the other the strength to continue living and enjoying life.  And that's what I plan on doing, but still...
