This and That

Just a few more pictures from my latest camping trip...

I received the Spring Ephemera Swap this week.   I can't wait to dig in and use these things.   They're fantastic.   I'll post some pictures later...  Thanks to Jessica Rodarte at Kids Napping?  I'm Scrapping! Blog for hosting this swap.

Another Craft Fair this weekend.   I have been to a craft fair each weekend for the past five weekends now.   It's been interesting to see what type of crafts are involved.   I have only seen one quilter and seven fabric crafters (i.e. stuffies, aprons, skirts, embroidery, etc.)   Are fabric crafts more prominent in the fall?

I've seen several potters, even bought a few items,  a few painters (watercolor and oil), a few sketchers, lots of photographers (I did buy several photographs.) and a few jewelry artists.

One of the most unique picture was by a Washi artist who created intricate paper designs using illustration board, batting, washi paper and a very sharp knife.   Another very unique offering was by a group of artists who created three dimensional, complicated embroidery pictures.   I have never seen anything like it at all.

The Shadowbox swap is almost done.   I will post pictures of the finished shadowbox before I pack it up and send it off to Minnesota.

Speaking of Minnesota, are any of you going to the Creative Connections Event this fall?   I'd love to meet you if you are...

Thanks for stopping by...
