Well, how was your weekend? Mine was really busy. I went to two craft fairs and did a bang up major shopping spree for the trailer.
The first fair was close to Provo, Utah and I had a thoroughly great time. Not only was it a craft fair, but there was a carnival with tons of rides and some of the best food I have tasted, especially the watermelon, pineapple and coconut drink. Refreshing!!
I managed to get some pictures of a couple of the booths. The first was S.E.Wiggins...
I loved the doll with the yellow and red dress and red hair so much that I bought it for my trailer! This group is not on line yet but will be soon. Watch for them because their work is really quality and unique.
The second booth was A and B Flower Clips and Bows. This was begun by a young mother because everyone wanted to purchase the flowers that she made for her girls. I had my old camera for this and the pictures really do not do justice to the bows.
I also found Fergy's Jalapeno Jelly...I absolutely love jalapeno jelly. And one of the twists was that they added other fruits like peaches and pineapple to the jalapenos for a completely different taste.
The second fair was in Ogdon, Utah. The fair featured two music stages - one at either end of the fair - which supplied continuous music. I bought a walking stick for $15 that was beautiful...and helpful as I used it all day. I didn't get any pictures at this fair - forgot to charge my camera. The potters and photographers were excellent. But my favorite was the bell booth with gorgeous sounding bells on stands...not cheap, but worth every dollar.
And finally, I had a major shopping spree to purchase things for the trailer. Things for the kitchen, tools needed to set it up and take it down, bedding, etc., etc., etc. Not too much to decorate it but things needed to live it in. Once I get things set up I will share some pictures.
I took the kitties out to the trailer today and they literally freaked out!!! It took them about an hour before they settled down...and they were very vocal about the whole thing. Quite frankly, I was surprised as they adjust to new surroundings so easily....
Are any of you going to the Creative Connections Event in St. Paul in September? If you are, look me up because I am looking forward to attending.
