Monday's Post A Day Late

Well, let me tell you driving 370 miles in one day, pulling a trailer, is quite a lot...but I made it.   Not sure if I want to try that much again but think I will be doing at least 300 on Thursday as I travel to Iowa.

So, here's the car ready to go at Cheyenne...notice there's no grass in the campsite...

There's one thing that I've really been missing...
You got it...trees!   There aren't a whole lot, but the Nebraska landscape does include them.

Here are a couple of unusual sites - shot through my car window -  remember, I had to cover quite a lot of miles...so I decided not to stop too many times.   But these sites reminded me of Wyoming, not Nebraska...

I did stop at one scenic viewing area.   These pictures sum up what most of the landscape looks like...
And unlike Wyoming where I could drive for miles without seeing a house or town, I always have a farm or a town in view in Nebraska.

Here's the famous arch...

Finally, this campsite is next to a cornfield.   There are trees, grass, birds chirping...as well as all the other amenities such as a pool, hot tub, playground, laundry, showers, convenience store, pizza place, etc.

I've managed to get more writing done on that large writing assignment.   Hopefully, I can get enough done tomorrow so I don't have to worry about it for a couple weeks at least.

For those of you who've asked, both cats seem to be doing well...I'll take some pictures of them outside on their leashes tomorrow.   Dale seems to like it...Chip, not so much...

Thanks for stopping by...
