Keeping track of the calendar both helps me and scares the ...you know what... out of me. I feel two things at once: "Hey, I'm further along than I was the last time."; as well as, "Oh my goodness, I'm not going to make it!"
How about you? Do you every have two totally opposite feelings all at once? How do you handle it? Me? I just sigh and keep on going. Or, I sit down, have a good talk with myself and then take a few minutes to rest, relax and regroup.
We had a good bit of rain over the past day but today was bright and sunny and warm! I still have one decoration on the porch and it simply sparkled...
So, I guess it is time to evaluate how I did with last week's goals:
-Sort four boxes from upstairs bedroom closet - actually finished sorting and packing seven boxes into five
-Continue to bring down photo albums and remove pictures - continuing
-Continue taking stuff to the trailer - continuing
-Finish packing stuff from studio/office - done
-Pack good set of dishes - done
-Pack everyday set of dishes - ran out of packing bubbles
-Sort glassware- done and donated
-Sort utensils - done
-Fix awning on trailer - done
-Go through clothes one more time for donations - halfway done
-Lose one pound - missed this week
-Back one quilt - backed two quilts
-Sew the top of the final quilt - not sewn
-Crochet house for village - not completed
-Continue taking stuff to Goodwill - car is once again packed
Not too bad
Here are the two quilts that I finished backing. After I finished the quilt throw in the first picture, I felt it didn't look too nice, so I took the binding off and redid it by hand. It looks much nicer...
So what are this week's goals? Well, how-about I list them tomorrow so this post doesn't become a novelette.
Football tonight!
Thanks for stopping by...
See you tomorrow...
PS: How's your thankful list coming along?
