Ice Storm?

This has been an interesting day.   The ice pellets began falling around noon.   Not too much to begin with.  I noticed it first on the car...

The ice continued and began building up on the car...

Not too much on the ground...

But then you can see how it accumulated...

This is what my steps looked like a couple hours ago...

Remember, what you are looking at above is ice, not snow.   And it is still 'raining' ice!!  

So, it has been a day to stay cozy in my little trailer.   I have worked on a couple of projects.   One is to take the fabric pieces in the picture below and create a mini-quilt...

Haven't got a clue yet as to what I will be making with these, but I'm working on it...
