NEW SWAP AT ROSES ON MY TABLE

Not sure what type of berries these are but I have found lots of them around here.   They are very bright but I don't see any birds eating the berries.    Do you know what they are?

Many of you know that I host swaps at Roses On My Table.   We just began a new swap - Ornaments, Galore!

Many folks like to decorate throughout the year, so we thought that an ornament swap would be unique.   Our first swap is for Springtime ornaments and the due date is March 1.   If you're interested check out the swap at Roses On My Table for all the information and to sign up.

To make an example of an ornament, I began sculpting a bird out of paperclay and then made a nest.  It was fun and different, but I think I will continue to create a few more different ornaments.

By the way, have you ever heard of ice cream 'bread'.   It's really like a pound cake or a bundt cake but it's made out of two ingredients.   Ice cream, any flavor, but it has to be regular not reduced fat, and self-rising flour.   That's it.  Melt the ice cream, mix in the flour,  put the batter in a greased and floured loaf pan or bundt cake pan and bake at 350 degrees.    There are lots of recipes on the internet but most suggest equal portions.   If you google for recipes, be sure to type in 'bread' not cake.  It's very good and I can't believe how easy it is.

Thanks for dropping in...
See you tomorrow...
