CUTE QUILT STORE AND HUDSON RIVER PARK

Sorry about not blogging yesterday.  The day kind of got away from me!  Does that every happen to you? You wake up in the morning and before you know it you're watching the 10pm news and you haven't gotten even half of what you wanted to get done...done!

So, today I finished the first part of two of the projects...in other words, the design.  Then it was off to the quilt store for fabric.  I told you about this cute little store.  Today I managed to take some photos.

There's more to the store, including fabric, but this gives you an idea.  The fabric is really great.  I bought enough to finish up both projects...well, except for the backing and batting.

From 4pm to 5:30pm, Tuesday - Friday, the shop owner has a sit and sew session.  Anyone can come in and sew around the big table.  You can bring your sewing machine if you want.  Just a time to chat and work on your projects.

The store is The Hudson Valley Quilt and Sew and it is located in Cornwall on the Hudson.

I also stopped by a cute little park which is right on the Hudson.

You can even fish here.  There's lots of picnic tables as well as portapotties.  And the parking lot is ample for quite a few folks to visit.  Can't wait to put a line in the river!!!

Well, tomorrow is when the redacted  Mueller Report is supposed to be released.  The White House is trying to put their spin on it, kind of like Barr's 'summary'.  And Barr gave the White House a preview so they can amp up their response.

Should be interesting.  And a day to be home and watch the news.

And can you believe that Easter is this Sunday?  I always like this time of year as a celebration of new life and you can see it all around with spring flowers blooming and trees leafing out, the sun shines brighter and the daylight hours are longer.  A time to step outside, sit in the sunlight, plant flowers and vegetables and enjoy nature.

Well, that's all for today...
Thanks for visiting...
See you tomorrow...
