FRABIC POSTCARDS...

Today was an interesting day...a continuation of yesterday in some respects.  One son had a severe toothache.  It began yesterday and continued today until he went to the dentist to have a tooth removed.  On the plus side, my Vikings won!!!

So the guild is doing three challenges.  The middle challenge is fabric postcards.  I am going to lead a workshop on making fabric postcards this coming Saturday.  In preparation, I decided to make several examples...

Some of the examples are hand sewn with batting, some are glued and some are attached with Heat and Bond.

These take such small amounts of scraps that there's no cost, especially if you have a bag of fabric scraps, plus a little glue or scraps of Heat and bond, some thread and scrap batting.  That's all.  And the creations are so small that they take no time to finish.

If you want to enjoy a little fabric creating, try postcards.  You don't have to mail them but you can. You can create several and display them on a wall with small space.  They will make a big impression.

Well, it's time for football...after all it is Monday night!!!
Talk with you tomorrow...
