25 Days of Christmas Crafts - Day Twenty-two - Paper Loop Ornament

Guess what?  I have baked three batches of very successful vegan cookies.  So, altogether, I have made six batches of cookies.  I have a couple more batches to make today and that's it.  Then tomorrow will be tea breads, fudge and fruitcake cupcakes.

Today's craft is a paper loop.  You can make these in all different sizes and colors.  You can use brads to hold them together or chenille sticks like this one...

Supplies needed are:  Card stock paper, chenille sticks, glue,
scissors and hole puncher

First cut strips and two small circles on one large one.
Punch holes at both ends of the strips and center of circles...

Push 2/3 of the chenille stick through large circle
folding the stick so it sits flat on the table
and add glue as shown...

Place strips on glue...

Continue adding glue and strips...

Add strips...

Glue the small circle and add on top of strips...

Next bring the strips up and
put on the top of the chenille stick
putting a dab of glue on each strip...

Finish adding the strips...

Glue and add another small circle...

Make a fringe for the bottom by cutting a
rectangle and making several slits as shown...

Role it up.  Glue together...

Slip on the chenille stick and glue...

Trim the chenille if long at the bottom
and add a loop at the top...

That's all there is.  Simple and easy...

Enjoy...
Talk with you tomorrow...
