So this house buying has it's ups and downs and right now we are at the down space. After having a bid accepted it looked like everything was a go with a house both of us loved. We had an extensive inspection done on Saturday and the owners were happy that everything was going so well.
We got a call this morning saying that the owners had rescinded their acceptance and were going with someone else! Talk about a downer...especially after we had spent $850 on the inspection.
We are back looking again. I think there is one house on Wednesday, possibly two, after work. Once again, fingers crossed. One thing if either of these homes workout, they are both empty and will not need 30 days after signing to stay in the house. One house is really nice and the other will work but it's not great.
It's Monday and that means a question to ponder. And this is a question specifically about you...are you taking time to enjoy your life? Remember, we only have one life to live so, as the saying goes, grab the brass ring and go for it.
All of us experience times when things seem to be running against us, when things happen that hurt, or that drastically changes our path. Life happens. At these times especially, it helps to find a way to take time for yourself...and when things are bumping along well, then take time to enjoy yourself.
Spend time thinking about this question...better yet, carve out time each day to find things that you enjoy doing and that make your life enjoyable.
