The weather this week has been nice. Temperatures in the 70's, sunny and not too much rain. This is my kind of weather.
I am now looking at ways to make the move...fingers still crossed that the inspection on Saturday goes well. The past several moves have been with U-Haul but this time, I think we will go with pods. That way we can pack and unpack leisurely. Well, maybe not completely leisurely but at least we won't have to pack a truck in one day and unpack the next. I am definitely too old for that!!!
I have most of the household items packed. The kitchen is about the only room that I have still have some packing to do plus a few items in my studio. I guess the food items will be brought in the truck as will the tv's. These are much nicer questions to have rather than will we find a place to move to!
So, Thursdays during the summer will be miscellaneous topics, either questions to ponder or things to do. On this first Thursday, I have a question for you to ponder. Is there something that you would like to accomplish this summer? I am talking about something that you would really like to do, not something that is on your to-do list like cleaning.
Perhaps you would like to spend time learning a new hobby like pottery or macrame. Maybe you would like to redecorate a room...or even a house. How about trying something new like bird watching or hiking a specific trail.
Take an afternoon and think about it. I bet there is something you have secretly wanted to do or try or learn. Consider this the summer to do, try or learn something you have always wanted to do.
