So, I didn't go to Vermont today as I got too late a start this morning...stayed up too late last night! And I thought that we would be on the road tomorrow looking for cars.
I did get some work done on sorting my studio. Going to take a while...but it will get done. I brought in a lot of the empty rolling carts that I had stored in Duchess. Still have a few more to get.
We have two weekends to empty the pods so we should be able to get both done. The top pod is about 3/4 empty but we haven't begun on the bottom pod.
Friday's focus is miscellaneous and so I think about things that I need to get done that may also be something of interest to you.
So today, I was thinking about the holidays coming up and any gifts that I enjoy gifting to family and friends. The list has gotten a lot shorter than it was twenty years ago but there are still several folks that I include.
Now is the time to take stock and decide what to give each person. And as I like to make gifts, I like to see what hand made gifts I think would be appreciated. I know it's early, but not really, so take the weekend to draw up a list of folks you want to give gifts to either made or purchased and jot down some ideas.
If you are thinking of giving things, then now is the time to decide what to make and gather the supplies. Eleven weeks may seem like a long time, but believe me, that time goes fast.
Enjoy the weekend and do some leaf peeping, maybe go to a corn maze and pick up some pumpkins!
Talk with you on Monday...
