Rain is forecast to begin around 8am and continue into tomorrow with much of the area getting over 2 inches. That makes eight weekends out of the last ten with rain and next weekend's forecast includes rain.
My plans include working in the garage and hopefully getting some organization and taking apart the large ruined cardboard boxes for Tuesday's recycling pickup. And getting the patio stuff out of the back of SnowWhite and into the garage on palettes.
I just found out that the large tree at the corner of the house is going to be taken down next week. Going to be interesting with all the wires running through it.
I also doubled the card stock on both the backdrop and the three tiers. You can see that I did sew around the edge of the backdrop. This is how it turned out...
The 3D effect is better in person than in the picture and I really like the results. You can also see that I added white glitter to the snow so the card sparkles.I plan on making several of these cards to send out during the holidays. It folds flat so it can go into an envelope easily. I think the only change that I want to make is to add a couple brighter green trees to the scene.
That's it for this week...another week closer to the holidays and gift giving. If you plan on making gifts to give, it's time to start making them.
Have a great weekend...stay dry...
Talk with you Monday...
