No leaf raking until the ground dries out...
So yesterday, my appointment to have the truck inspected was at noon. By 1:15 they had still not taken SnowWhite into the garage. The only good thing I can say is that it didn't take 2 hours to do the inspection. It only took about 45 minutes. Still longer than what folks were used to...20 minutes.
At least I found out why the inspections were taking longer...the state has decided to hook up to the vehicle's computer to see if there's anything amiss. The more complex your computer, the longer the hookup. SnowWhite has a limited computer compared with the new cars so the hookup was much shorter. In the end, my truck passed inspection so she is now completely legal!
This morning I am going to be leaving to pick up several baby blankets so I can photograph them. These baby blankets are part of a fundraiser that the Empire Quilters Guild is holding. They will eventually be put on three platforms for sale.
I am going to take several pictures of each. I have a place where taking pictures will be easy and hopefully turn out great. After looking at several sites, I will be taking a full front picture, a full front picture with the back showing partially, a full back picture, two close-ups and then a staged picture artfully draping the blanket and adding baby toys. Hopefully, they will sell. A good deal of the money raised will go to the food pantry at the church where the guild meets.
That's it for today. The weekend looks free of rain with temperatures around 50. Great weather for getting out and doing something. Hope it's the same for you and that you find something great to do this weekend...something spontaneous!
Talk with you on Monday...
